Kids Class

Panther Cubs Program

Our Panther Cubs program was developed for children ages 4 to 13 years old. We understand the importance of physical fitness and sports in the early stages of a child's life.

Our instructors' goals are to help children recognize the health benefits of a physically active lifestyle, so that they can continue these 'good habits' into their adult life.

About The Program

The Panther Cubs program introduces martial arts and combat sport fundamentals to children. In addition to the obvious health benefits, the program strive's to instill discipline and self-confidence at an early age. Through our program, we teach the following disciplines

  • Boxing classes, ages 7 years old & up.
  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, ages 4 years old & up.
  • Muay Thai & Kickboxing classes, ages 7 years old & up.
  • Submission Wrestling (No-Gi) classes, ages 4 years old & up.
  • Wrestling classes, ages 4 years old & up.

Starting Kids Early

In general, kids who begin a routine level of physical activity early:

  • have more flexible, stronger muscles and bones
  • have a leaner body & reduced body fat
  • are less likely to become overweight or develop other longer-term health related issues (ex: type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol)
  • sleep better
  • are often better able to handle physical and emotional challenges

Playful Learning

Most children love to play games. We believe that when children are engaged and having fun, they're more likely to learn and retain information.

Our Panther Cubs program introduces self-defense techniques and martial arts principles by teaching basic exercises and using games to introduce fundamental techniques.Examples of benefits from our methods include:

  • Agility
  • Balance and proper base techniques (fighting stance)
  • Proper takedown and falling techniques
  • Self-defense / anti-bullying awareness (blocking/guarding, sweep & control techniques)

Our Promise

Join the Panther Cubs program and your child will:

  • be taught by friendly instructors
  • learn self-defense and train in a safe environment
  • receive a progress report that details his/her learning development (twice a year)
  • have FUN!
