Q: How long does it take to become a BJJ black belt?
A: There is no simple answer to this question. A common response is, "you get out what you put in." In other words, to become a black belt, there are numerous things to consider, like the amount time spent training, natural ability to learn and continually develop, and other factors that would enable a mastery level in the art.  It is very important to develop a strong foundation first that includes fundamental principles and techniques. From that, one can build and become more advanced.

Street Jitsu follows the graduation system sanctioned by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation.

Q: I want to become an MMA fighter, can you train me for this?
A: Yes, we can train you to become an MMA fighter. Keep in mind, it takes a long time (years) to become proficient in any single discipline. One should not expect to fight in MMA without the appropriate amount of training and careful preparation.
